Extensive practical experience from management consultancy to conciliation (air traffic controllers’ industrial action), collective bargaining and works constitution disputes, the formation of European companies and expert opinions on legal questions.

Numerous publications including a standard commentary on the Collective Agreement Act and commentaries in Staudinger, newspaper columns.

Research is centred on collective labour law (collective bargaining law, industrial disputes law, works constitution law, co-determination), strategic structuring of employment and the developments in Labour Law 4.0 with emphasis on organization issues.
